Performance in Vienna, Austria August, 2005
Fancy, an invention of illusion, transformation, and stilt-walking, was developed to be included in curriculum produced by the University of Linz supporting the thesis that a perceived 'weakness' (translation of the German word 'makel') can be transformed into a strength in certain activities like, art, photography, and athletics.
In April, 2006 Lisa Bufano and E. Stephen Frederick developed a new version of the illusion, entitled Forming Fancy, to perform in conjunction with screenings of Vom Charme Des Makels, in Linz and Vienna, Austria, April-March, 2006.
